Incipio is moving into the home automation and home products sector of the market, which of course falls under the Internet of Things product category. They are debuting three products in this category, the DIRECT Wireless Smart Outlet, the Light Bulb Adapter, and the Power Strip. All of these new products support Apple’s HomeKit technology.

All of these new products allow users to explore and use home automation with out doing too much work and by having them work with Apple HomeKit it will make it even easier to use them with an iOS device. They are also releasing the Incipio DIRECT App which will let you integrate these new products with a variety of home automation products. The Direct Wireless Smart Outlet is a connected wall outlet, you will be able to control via Siri on your iOS device or via the DIRECT App. The Light Bulb Adapter is not a physical smart bulb, but a new based that will let you control a regular bulb from away. Lastly, the Power Strip is a normal power strip with one connect outlet.
