Lenovo is gearing up for the Windows 10 launch, which is a just a few days away on July 29th. Starting on this Wednesday Lenovo will be offering several devices running Windows 10. Not only will they be shipping devices with the latest and greatest software from Microsoft, but plenty of their devices will be eligible to upgrade!

Devices like the YOGA 500 and Yoga Pro 3 will be able to upgrade, you can check your device’s upgrade eligibility by clicking here. Lenovo has teamed up with Microsoft to make the upgrade painless for its customers. Chances are if your computer is running Windows 7 SP1 or 8.1, you should be able to upgrade to Windows 10. The updates will be rolling out in waves or phases,t the first comes on July 29th. Lenovo has developed a compatibility check process, for instance if you have reserved a copy of Windows 10, once the process confirms you will have a great experience, Windows 10 will download and install on your system.

Not only will Lenovo users be getting the upgrade quite soon after launch, but they will have exclusive software experiences. With Lenovo Companion 3.0 you can keep your device running at peak performance, do a full-scale checkup, and much more. You will also have access to the latest news, as well as tips and tricks for your machine, thanks too exclusive Lenovo content.

Along with Lenovo Companion 3.0, you will be getting a digital smart hub via Lenovo Settings 3.0. This smart hub will allow you too take advantage of the different modes that Lenovo offers and will let you get more out of the device. Smart Settings will predict, adapt and modify device settings to suit user behavior.

Both Lenovo Companion 3.0 and Lenovo Settings 3.0 are available from the Microsoft storage. You can download them from here Lenovo Companion 3.0, and here Lenovo Settings 3.0, respectively.

Plus, Cortana will be working in harmony with Lenovo’s ReachIT application. ReachIT allows you to search for and manage your content across multiple devices and cloud storage systems. With the integration of ReachIT with Cortana, it vastly improves and expands what Cortana will be able to do. You will be able to search through files using natural language, which will be quite a unique feature. This will be available as a beta to user this Fall, and you can sign up for it at www.cortanareachit.com, if you would rather wait it should launching later this year.

Overall, it seems that Lenovo has some great features coming to Windows 10 and have made the upgrade process quite simple and intuitive.
