Many of you have seen the Back to the Future movies.  In these movies, a crazy doctor created a super cool car that could go back or forward in time, and it was powered by garbage in the second and third movies.  While even the idea of time travel is eons away, using garbage to power a car is not.  A pair of Spanish engineers created an R.C. car called dAlH2Orean.  This car uses soda can rings to propel itself forward.  When the aluminium rings are dropped into the fuel tank filled with sodium hydroxide, a chemical reaction occurs which creates hydrogen.  This hydrogen then goes to a fuel cell which powers the car and makes it go.  It can run for about 40 minutes straight.  Maybe someday all cars will be powered by garbage like this little test, and maybe we will travel through time as well.
