Brita Bottle Review

Brita Bottle - NJTechReviews

Our friends over at Brita have sent us their new Brita Bottle to review. It is part of the NJTechReviews Go Green Series! The Brita Bottle, could very well replace buying water bottles for yourself. It comes in 2 colors green or blue. It retails for $9.99 for a single bottle or $18.99 for a 2-pack. Now let’s get started with the full review on the Brita Bottle.

Getting Started With Your Brita Bottle!

Once you get your Brita bottle, you will see how simple it is to get started with a disposable bottle free life. When you take the top off the bottle, you will find a instruction pamphlet inside. It will tell you to first wash the inside of the bottle. You can do this with some tap-water and soap. Make sure to rinse the bottle until it is clean. After this, you can fill it with tap-water and put the top back on. Make sure both of the lids are screwed on tightly, so the water does not leak out. Make sure to squeeze out you first full bottle of water, to activate the filter. Black carbon residue will come out with the first few squeezes, this is normal. After this it will run clear. Make sure to empty out the whole bottle. Then you can refill the bottle and refrigerate for a couple of minutes. Then after that you can enjoy your new Brita Bottle!

Water Taste

The Brita Bottle makes any type of tap water drinkable. The water tastes very clean with no after taste, when coming out of the Brita Bottle. It turns your tap-water into the water that you get from the store in bottles. It is a great way to go green and it tastes great at the same time as well.

Care For Brita Bottle

As with the other Brita Products, the magic of making the water clean comes from having a filter inside. The Brita Bottle is no different. When you first buy the bottle it will come with one filter pre-installed inside. However, you will need to replace this filter. Filter replacement happens roughly every 2 months with regular/daily use. Brita has a handy page on there web site, that will set you up with “Filter Change Reminders”! The best part is that just for signing up they will give you a $2 coupon for your next filter purchase. You can sign up for “Filter Change Reminders” here: Brita “Filter Change Reminders”! The filters for the Brita Bottle are sold in a 2(two) pack, for the low price of only $7.99 , about $4.00 a filter. So, the price is not that bad for the up-keep of your bottle.

Bottom Line

The Brita Bottle gives you great tasting water. It is also a easy way to start going green. Instead of buying disposable bottles of water at the supermarket, you can buy one Brita Bottle, and by the filters around every 2 months. You can end up saving money by using the Brita Bottle. At the price of $9.99 for one bottle or $18.99 for 2 bottles, it is really a no brainer. You can get a 2-pack of filters for only $7.99. It is not that big if an investment, and it can help the world become a greener place at the same time. You Can Get Your \”Brita Bottle\”, By Clicking Here. You Can Get your \”Brita Bottle Filters\”, By Clicking Here. We would like to thank “Brita” for providing us with a copy of the “Brita Bottle”.
