Today, Lenovo with YouTube unveiled SpaceLab. There describing it as”YOUR EXPERIMENT, 250 MILES ABOVE EARTH, FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE.“. It is a project that is truly one of a kind. It is a global contest, and there will be 2(two) grand prize winners. 14(fourteen) to 18(eighteen) year olds will upload a video of an them explaining an idea that they had for an Experiment to YouTube. The experiments should be focused on Physics or Biology. You can submit your entries from October 10 through December 7. The Grand-Prize is that the 2(two) experiments that are chosen will be sent up to the International Space Station and performed by an Astronaut. The experiment will be live streamed on YouTube for the whole world to see. It is a great opportunity for students to explore space and have their experiment done at the International Space Station. There will be a judging period as well. This will happen from January 3 through January 10. They will be 60 Finalists from the 3(three) regions. They will be judged by a great panelists of Judges featuring astronauts, space scientists, space explorers, space teachers, space leaders, and the YouTube community. They will pick the top 6 Finalists who will be invited to a special event in Washington DC. This is where they will announced the 2(two) Grand Prize winners and they will all get to take part in a zero-gravity flight. It will be a great time for all!
