Hardware

The Samsung Exhibit II 4G has some great hardware inside. On top of the phone you have your headphone jack and micro USB port. The micro USB port is hidden by a small sliding door, it is a really cool design. On the right hand side you have your power/sleep button. The left hand side is where the volume rocker is located. On top of the screen is your ear piece and from facing VGA camera. Under the screen you have your classic Android touch button, the menu, home, back, and search buttons. On the back you have your 3 mega-pixel back camera with flash, T-Mobile Logo, Samsung Logo, and speaker. If you take the back cover off you will find the T-Mobile Sim Card, MicroSD card Slot, and your Samsung 1500mAh lithium-ion battery. The phone’s color is stylish marine finish, like a navy blue. The screen is a 3.7 inch WVGA TFT Touchscreen display. It is a very good screen, that will give you great colors. To give the phone speed it has a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor. Access to T-Mobile’s 4G Network will bring you speed as well. The speaker’s on the Samsung Exhibit II 4G are great and will give you a great sound experience. Overall, the hardware in the Samsung Exhibit II 4G is great.

Operating System

The T-Mobile Samsung Exhibit II 4G is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung Touch Wiz. I personally really like Samsung Touch Wiz show, i was happy to see it. It runs great on this phone. It is fast and there is almost no delay. This is thanks to it’s 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor, it gives the Samsung Exhibit II 4G it’s speed. The lock screen shows you the network and the time/date. To access the rest of the phone just swipe the panel away, this is a classic lock screen found in Samsung Touch Wiz. In terms of Pre-Loaded apps, the Samsung Exhibit II 4G has plenty of them. Some of the apps are T-Mobile TV, Samsung Media Hub, TETRIS, Bejeweled 2, Qik Video Chat, Google’s App Suite, Android Market, TeleNav, Slacker, Zinio Reader, Blio, Bonus Apps, Kies Air, Yelp, and more. If these apps aren’t enough for you, have access to the entire Android Market. Samsung Media Hub is where you can access movies and TV shows, you can either rent or buy them. Samsung Media Hub is exclusive to Samsung Devices. Plus if you bought the movie or TV show on another device, it can be shared with up to 5 devices. Overall, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Samsung Touch Wiz make the Samsung Exhibit II 4G great!
