In Kinect Disneyland Adventures it a free moving game. For the most part you can go where you like when you want to. However, there are adventures that Mickey Mouse and other characters will send you on. You can also ride on some of the rides and check out the fireworks. It brings the magic of Disney right in to your home. Now, you don’t sit down to play this game, you are constantly moving and walking around Disneyland. There are also mini-games scattered throughout the park, that will give you fun for hours. You can also fly through the world of Peter Pan and have a sword fight with Captain Hook. There is all of this and much more that will keep you begging for more. My favorite part of the game is when you interact with the characters. You can high-five them, give them a hug, and even get an autograph from them. It really brings the true experience of Disneyland into your home. You can see all of your favorite Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, Woody, Jessie, Pluto, and so many more! Also, included with your purchase of the game is a map of the park, this comes in very handy. There is also a virtual map that you can use on the screen. There is also a Disneyland Store where you can us your coins, to get lots of great prizes and items! Overall, Kinect Disneyland Adventures different game modes are great!
Graphics and Game Controls
The graphics are Kinect Disneyland Adventures are great! The characters and the attractions look extremely life-like. You get decide what you look like at the beginning of the game. There are many different options to choose from, and you are bound to find one that looks like yourself. The graphics are a little cartoonish but, they still look very life-like. The charters are true to there shape and they look and sound the same. The interaction between the charters and you is very smooth, they took there tim when designing the graphics and boy did it pay off. The graphics in Kinect Disneyland Adventures are great! Now, let’s talk about controlling the game. Since it is a Kinect game you are the controller. To walk you use arms, i thought it would have been easier if you just walk in place. However Microsoft did not go this route, maybe in a future updated this is how it will work. To start interacting with a charter you wave to them until the circle is full. To give them a high-five, all you have to do is move your hand up and actually give them a high-five. To hug a character just hug your self and you will be amazed with what you see. If you want an autograph just put your hands out in front of you and your favorite Disney Character will sign it and then return it to you. You can also use your voice to do certain things. For instance when you have the virtual mini map open, just say where you would like to go and your automatically transported there. Overall, the Game Controls in Kinect Disneyland Adventures get the job done.
