Updated: We have just received this statement from Verizon Wireless
4GLTE issue resolved overnight. 3G operated normally; calling, texting were unaffected.
The 4G LTE issue has been resolved overnight, and is back to working normally. The entire 3G service ,as we reported earlier, was not affected what so ever. Be sure to let us know if your able to access Verizon’s 4G LTE Network. Also, Thank You to Verizon for getting issued solved so quickly!
Well, people have been reporting that Verizon’s 4G LTE Network users can not access Data. Meaning that they can make phone calls and send texts, however they cannot surf the web or check their email. Their 3G Network is fine and is fully operational. Verizon Wireless has provided us with this statement:
We are investigating reports of some customers experiencing trouble accessing the 4GLTE network . The network itself continues to operate and all customers continue to be able to make calls, send text messages and utilize data services. 3G devices are operating normally.
It is not affecting all 4G LTE customers, however some are not being able to access their 4G LTE data. Keep in mind that if they can’t access 4G LTE data they should be switched over to Verizon 3G Data network. They are investigating reports and knowing Verizon Wireless they should have their network back to normal in no time. Let us know if you are affected by this outage.
