LG just recently unveiled one of the most awaited LTE devices * “The Optimus Vu”. This new device is a cross between a smart phone and a tablet. The device has a big focus on ultra portability and productivity. It’s unique screen size of 5 inch has a 4:3 aspect ratio for optimal viewing. The screen 1024×768 IPS display technology creates a great viewing experience under bright sunlight. At 8.5 mm thin the VU should be easy for in hand usage and fitting easily in your jacket pocket. The Optimus Vu is running a 1.5ghz dual core processor, 32GB of internal memory and a large 2,800 mAh battery. The camera on this device will have a featured 8-megapixel camera. LG’s Vu will currently be the thinnest LTE product available on the market. The initial lunch of this product will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, fortunately updates for Android Ice Cream Sandwich is already in the works. LG has equipped this device with QuickClipTM hotkey which allows users to easily capture screenshots and memos with a single click. Another key feature is writing down notes with your fingers or using the devoted RubberdiumTM pen. Productivity apps are not lacking on this device, as it also includes Polaris Office allowing users to open up any document, spreadsheet or presentation on the go. The Optimus Vu will make it’s debut at MWC 2012 (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona from February 27-March 1st. It is set to be released in Korea in March on carriers Sk Telecom and LG+. In addition to HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance), Optimus Vu: comes with 32GB memory and an 8-megapixel camera. While it will initially launch running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is already in the works.
