Virgin Mobile Announces Three 4G Devices And 4G Network!

Today, Virgin Mobile announced that they will be launching a 4G Network. Note that this will be Sprint’s 4G WiMAX Network. Their first 4G smartphone will be the HTC EVO V 4G. It will run on their Unlimited Data and Messaging plan which costs $35 per month. It will be available on May 31 for the price of $299.99 . The EVO V 4G features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC Sense 3.6, WiFi Hotspot Capable for up to 5 WiFi devices, 1.2GHz Dual-Core Processor with 1GB of RAM, a 4.3 inch qHD Touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel back camera with flash, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 4GB of internal space, microSD card slot with 8GB card included, HDMI port, Bluetooth capable, 1730mAh battery, and much more! If you want to use the mobile hotspot feature it will cost an extra $15 a month. Virgin Mobile is also announcing a Mobile Hotspot and a USB Stick. Let’s begin with the Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Hotspot. It can share it’s connection with up to 5 WiFi enabled devices. For an easy set-up it has a 1.7 inch LCD screen and for file sharing it has a micro SD card slot. This device will cost you $149.99 . You also get the U600 3G/4G USB Stick, which allows you to share your connection with one computer that has a USB port. The USB stick will cost only $99.99 . They are offering 2 plans, for $35 a month you get unlimited 4G (where available) and 2GB of 3G Data. For $55 a month you get unlimited 4G and up to 5GB of 3G data. Overall, I am very excited about Virgin Mobile going 4G and there new devices seem great! These devices and the 4G WiMAX network will be available/go live on May 31, 2012!
