Yesterday, Incipio unleashes their first Apple certified backup battery case for the iPhone 6, the offGRID Express. Today they are expanding their line backup battery cases for the iPhone 6 by adding four new charging cases. These are the offGRID, offGRID SHINE, and offGRID EXO Backup Battery Cases, plus the offGRID Express that was unveiled yesterday. Incipio has also just announced the offGRID Dock which works with most of these iPhone 6 charging cases.
The entire offGRID collection of cases feature 3,000mAh batteries and are MFI approved. The offGRID Express case uses a simple snap case, while the offGRID Backup Battery Case has a Co-mold design which will provide enhanced protection. This variant also features a 3,000mAh battery, is compatible with the offGRID Dock, and comes in Black, Gray, and Blue color options. It will be landing in Quarter 1 of 2015 and will retail for $89.99.
Next up we have the offGRID SHINE Backup Battery Case which is the nicest looking of all these battery cases. You still get the co-mold design, but this finished off with a brushed metal finish. It comes in Black, White, and Gray color options and it is compatible with the offGRID Dock. It lands also in Quarter 1 of 2015 but will cost $99.99.
Lastly, we have the rugged iPhone 6 battery case which is the offGRID EXO. This is a military drop tested case and has a MIL-810G rating. The case is still co-mold design, but they added textured bumper for the enhanced protection. Even with all of the extra protection it still has the charging pins for the offGRID Dock and comes in your choice of Black, White, or Gray. The offGRID EXO will be landing sometime in Quarter 1 of 2015 and will retail for $99.99.
A charging dock is important for any device and when you add a case to that device, it doesn’t always fit in the dock. With the Incipio offGRID Dock you will be able to charge the iPhone 6 with a offGRID™, offGRID™ SHINE, offGRID™ EXO Backup Battery Cases. It is a very compact base that has texture on the bottom so it won’t slip or move around. It will cost you around $39.99 and will also be available sometime in the first quarter of 2015.
