Verizon has a goo month, they have gotten several awards for their network quality. And they are known for reliability and speed, in fact Verizon’s 4G LTE network is lightning fast. They have already gotten an award from RootMetrics, but J.D. Power just ranked Verizon as highest in network quality in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. The study was conducted with over 27,000 wireless subscribers in the United States. Verizon’s commitment to its network is proven through customer feedback and these studies. They invest over $9 billion annually to its network across the United States and in the New York Metro region alone, they have invested more than $460 million.

Yesterday, was the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Verizon’s network stood strong and performed very well. The investments in the network and these awards and rankings, were confirmed by real world usage at the parade. Before, during, and after this years parade over 2.1 terabytes of data were used, this is much larger than the 780GB used last year. Throughout the parade, over 9.3 million email messages,  2 billion social media posts, 56,000 videos were shared, and  2 billion social media posts were made. With all of these network connections happening and being sent through successfully, Verizon’s network performed very well.
