ZTE has just unveiled the Boost Max+ for Boost Mobile, and it is the sequel to very popular Boost Max. And of course last year, the Boost Max was the first phablet for the carrier and the second generation of the device is getting some well deserved upgrades. A unique piece of the Boost Max+ will be that it is not coming with a price increase, the Boost Max+ comes in at the same $199.99. Keep in mind that Boost Mobile is a no price carrier, which means cheaper monthly plans.

The Boost Max+ is still a phablet style of device, as it has a 5.7-inch 1280 X 720 IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is running the latest and greatest software, yes Android 5.1 Lollipop will be running on the device. The device is powered by a Qualcomm quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. You get 16GB of internal storage, but you can expand this with a micro SD card slot. The Max+ has an 8 megapixel lens on the back and a 1 megapixel lens on the front. The device also has an upgrade battery, it is now packing a larger 3,400mAh battery.

There is a new color for the Boost Max+, you can now get it in Tuscan Gold, which does look pretty nice. It is not too thick of a phablet as well, coming in at just 9.3 millimeters. It has support for both 3G and 4G LTE networks and will be able to run on Sprint’s network that Boost Mobile uses.

The Boost Max+ by ZTE for Boost Mobile is available now from the carrier.
