Apple’s 2015 Back to School deal is a pair of Beats Solo2 headphones with an eligible Mac purchase

Apple’s annual Back to School deal for 2015 has been announced, and while in previous years we have seen gift cards for the Apple store or for the App store, this year they are going in a different direction. This year with the purchase of an eligible Mac you will get a pair of Beats Solo 2 headphones for free. Beats Solo 2’s retail for $199.95 and come in array of colors like black, white, blue, and red.

And if you’re looking for a more advanced set of headphones, Apple will let you pay another $100 to get the Beats Solo 2 Wireless Headphones, which retails for $299.95, so this is a nice option to have. Eligible Macs are the new Macbook, the Macbook Pro, the Macbook Air, the iMac, and the Mac Pro. They products need to be purchased with education pricing and build to order configurations will be eligible, along as that discount is applied.

Apple has only announced this as their 2015 Back to School deal, and it is interesting to see that the iPad is not included in this deal. The 2015 Back to School will last will be running from today, July 23rd 2015, until September 18th 2015.
