Verizon Wireless in Herald Square NYC on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus launch day

Launch day for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus was on September 25th, otherwise known as last Friday. And on the even of the launch, Verizon unveiled their own iPhone Upgrade Program. They were the last of the carriers to announce a way to get the new iPhone for a good deal and be able to get the next one when it comes out. And Verizon’s own program is the most similar to Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program. This was just one of the ways to buy the latest devices from Cupertino in store on Friday.

Show in the photo above was a shot from the Verizon Wireless store in Herald Square NYC, and they had plenty of people showing up to get the 6s and 6s Plus. You could certainly say that Verizon’s iPhone 6s and 6s Plus launch day was a solid one and for a good reason. Now if a Verizon Store is not close to you can get the latest devices online or via telephone sales. For iPhone’s, you can also visit your local Apple Store.

If you pre-ordered the 6s or 6s Plus on an installment plan prior to the Upgrade Program being announced, you were given eligibility to do the program. On Verizon Wireless you can also pay for the device out right and while it is more expensive, you own the device from the get go and if you choose to upgrade, you can trade your device back to Verizon or use another buy back store like Gazelle.

One advantage of getting the iPhone 6s or 6s Plus on Verizon Wireless, would be access to their lightning fast 4G LTE network. On my personal iPhone 6s on Verizon, I was able to get some pretty fast speeds and streaming songs from Apple Music was a breeze with no interruptions. Verizon is known for reliability and speed, and big red is still providing it.
