Earlier this morning T-Mobile announced that Samsung’s latest and greatest device would be landing on November 15th, but Verizon is beating them to the bunch. That is right as today, you can pre-order the Samsung Gear S2 on Verizon Wireless and it will be landing on November 6th!
Similar to other carriers, the device will be available in silver or dark grey, but on Verizon Wireless you can buy it with a contract for $299.99 or with no contract for $349.99. You can then add the device to your Verizon plan for just $5 more a month. Considering that the Gear S2 does use a mobile network, being on a fast and reliable one like Verizon’s is a good idea. The Gear S2 does use a circular design and you move the rim of the device to navigate the Tizen operating system.
In terms of hardware the Gear S2 has a 300mAh, wireless charging capabilities out of the box, 4GB of internal storage, is running Tizen 2.3, and will work with any Android device running 4.4 KitKat and newer. You can pre-order the device now from Verizon Wireless, and as of writing this piece, it should deliver a day early on November 5th!
