Lenovo is back with some new computers, and today the company has just announce two new premium additions to their YOGA family. The YOGA 900 is a convertible laptop and the YOGA Home 900 is a portable all-in-one desktop. As you might have guessed it, the Home 900 is replacing the Horizon computers, and with that Lenovo is integrating more products into the YOGA family. Let’s talk about the YOGA Home 900, it builds on the Lenovo Horizon desktop and brings with it a new and improved AURA 3.0 user interface. It goes in the opposite direction of a typical desktop PC, it moves away from the idea of needing to be plugged and on a desk. It has a kickstand in the back that will let you use it a typical PC, but when you lay it flat, you unleash Aura 3.0, and this is the unique interface meant for entertainment. This will let you explore video, productivity, education, and entertainment apps from the Windows Store that work well in this format. Keep in mind all of this will be done on the 27-inch LED 1920 X 1080 display of the Home 900, which features full touch capability.


It also does not need to be plugged in all the time, in fact it has around 3 hours of battery life. It is powered by up too an Intel Core 5th generation i7 processor, plus you can through in a NVIDIA GeForce 940a graphics chip. It will be running the latest and greatest software from Microsoft, which is of course Windows 10.

The YOGA Home 900 will be landing at the end of October and will be available from Lenovo’s online store and BestBuy. At Lenovo you can get it for $1,549, but BestBuy will have it for $1,499.


Next up is the brand new Lenovo YOGA 900, which is the machine and it available in the legendary clementine orange color. For starters, it is the worlds thinnest Intel Core i convertible laptop, plus it is powered by up to Intel’s latest and greatest 6th generation Core i7 processor with up to 16GB of RAM. To put it simply the software and hardware mixture make for one great experience, Windows 10 will run quite smoothly on the device. Lenovo didn’t just stop there, they improved the battery by 50 percent and you will now get up to 9 hours of battery life with video playback.


Lenovo managed to make the YOGA 900 even thinner and lighter at just 14.9 millimeters and only 2.8 pounds. It has a new watchband hinge that is made out of 800 individually pieces that are woven together. It will allow you to smoothly switch into laptop, stand, tent, or tablet mode and rotation will be even easier.

For your viewing experience, it has a 13.3-inch QHD+ 3200 X 1800 IPS display with wide viewing angles. It now have a Samsung Solid State Drive inside that will give you higher reliability and a faster experience with much less noise. You can also get it with up to 16GB of RAM which will make Windows 10 run very fast. For the audiophiles out there, it has virtual surround sound courtesy of JBL speakers and Dolby Audio Premium.

The Lenovo YOGA 900 will be available in the awesome clementine organs, platinum silver, and champagne gold. It is available today, October 19th, from Lenovo’s online store and BestBuy, even better it starts at only $1,199.99.
