Acer’s new Chromebase 24 is the world’s first Chromebase all-in-one desktop to be powered by Intel Core processors! Now you get the power of Intel, with the unique and simple features of Google’s Chrome operating system. It has the largest screen of any Chrome OS device on the market, with a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 X 1080. Plus it has up to 178-degree viewing angles and 10 point multitouch, allowing you many ways to interact with Chrome OS.

The Intel Core processors will make the Chromebase 24 a speedy device, but you can also have up to 8GB of DDR3L RAM for a smooth experience. You can go wired thanks to a Gigabit Ethernet port or wireless with 802.11ac built-in. You get an adjustable HD webcam that can tilt -5-degrees to 30-degrees and four digital microphones.

The Chromebase 24 will automatic updates every six weeks, this will make sure that it has the latest security and software on board. All data both on the device itself and in the cloud will be encrypted and protected by a built-in Trusted Platform Module 1.2 chip.

While Acer has not yet announced exact pricing or availability just yet, it should be coming in the next few weeks!
