Lenovo Y27g RE Curved Gaming Monitor (rear-powered on)

Lenovo is making some grand updates to it’s Y Series of laptops and desktops, along with several new accessories for them. Introducing the ideapad Y900 and the Y27g Curved Gaming Monitor, along with special Razer Editions of this monitor and the ideacentre Y900.  And yes, Lenovo did partner with one of the leading gaming brands on the planet, the result is ultra-premium models of these products.

The new ideapad Y900 is meant to provide a solid experience while gaming with great graphics. It features a 17-inch Full HD IPS Anti-Glare display with a resolution of  1920 X 1080. Powering the graphics experience is a NVIDIA GTX-980M 4G or 8G GDDR5 PCI-Express discrete graphics card. It is powered by up to an Intel 6th Generation Quad Core i7 over clockable CPU with up to 64GB of RAM! It is running Windows 10 home and can have up too a 512GB SSD or a 1TB HDD. On top of all this, it also sports a sweet design and comes in at 10.1 pounds, plus it has a mechanical backlit multi-color keyboard. The ideapad Y900 will be available in June of 2016 and will start at $1,999.

Next up is Lenovo’s first curved gaming monitor and that is the Y27g. This monitor will be launching in June of 2016 for $549. The Y27g features a 27-inch VA Full HD 16:9 curved panel with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 and is Anti-glare. It has a unique stand that will let it title, swivel, and lift, plus it has four USB 3.0 ports on the back. NVIDIA G-SYNC technology will come in to play if you use the Display Port, but you also have an HDMI port on the back as well. The Razer Edition of the Y27g monitor will feature Razer Chroma RGB LED lighting effects, and is only $50 more at $599.

The Razer Edition of the ideacentre Y900 comes with a bit more, but it will cost $2,299 when it drops in June. It features up to 6th Generation Intel Core i7 overclockable processors and up to dual NVIDIA GTX970 4G GDDR5 discrete graphics. You can have up too 32GB of RAM along with a 2TB HDD and a 256GB SSD. With Razer Chroma on board you get a special keyboard and mouse, along with multi-color lighting effects.

Along with a new gaming laptop, a special edition gaming desktop, and two monitors, Lenovo also has some accessories. First off is the Y Gaming Mouse which features up to 4,000 DPI and 4 levels of custom DPI setting, along with 5 customizable buttons. It has a sleek design with a black finish and some red poking through. The Y Gaming Mouse will be available in May for $39.99. If you are looking for a bag to carry your ideapad Y900, the  Y Gaming Armored Backpack is for you. It features three separate compartments including one that can fit a 17-inch laptop, along with a hard front shell and a carbon fiber pattern. This backpack will be dropping in May for $89.99. Last but not least, for all the gamers out there, Lenovo has made a Y Gaming Stereo Headset. This headset has a 50-millimeter drives that power the stereo sound, a retractable microphone, customizable software, and soft mesh padding for a comfortable experience. The Y Gaming Stereo Headset will cost $49.99 when it comes out in May.
