Haier is not just refreshing its TV lineup, but they are bringing some updates to its tablet lineup. Introducing the new HaierPads that feature Android or Windows along with multi-core processors and cameras. While we don’t have exact pricing or exact availability just yet, they are slated to arrive at some point this year.

The HaierPad W800 is a Windows 8 tablet, I was quite surprised to see that they did not opt for Windows 10. It has an 8-inch IPS Full HD display, the design of the tablet is slim at just 8.6 millimeters thick. It weighs in at 388 grams and has black soft touch shell as a casing. Powering the experience on the W800 is quad-core Intel processor. Included with the tablet is a year of Microsoft Office 365 and an optional keyboard can turn it in a laptop like experience.

Next up is the new W203 HaierPad that has a 10.1-inch IPS Full HD display with an Intel Generation 7 graphics chipset. You get 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a micro SD card slot. It is powered by an Intel  Z3735F quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and an 8,000mAh battery. You get a USB 2.0 port, a micro HDMI port, and a micro SD card slot. An integrated stylus is included with he W203 and click in keyboard can be added for use as a stand.

Lastly, there is the HaierPad 971 which is an Android tablet. It is running Android 4.4, which is a few versions behind and no word on if it will be receiving updates. It is Haier’s first 9.7-inch tablet and the display is QXGA with a 2048 X 1256 resolution. It is powered by a 1.8GHz quad core processor with 2GB of RAM. You get an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front. For connectivity, the HaierPad 971 has dual band WiFi which supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. You will get 16GB of internal storage and this can be expanded up to 32GB via a micro SD card slot. You should get around 8 hours of battery life thanks to an 7,800mAh battery.
