The Gear S2 Classic will be coming to AT&T with NumberSync

The Gear S2 Classic was first announced and shown off at 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, but now we have learned that it will be coming to at least one carrier in the United States. AT&T will be adding the Gear S2 Classic with NumberSync to its lineup of connected devices this year.

AT&T has not given an exact date or any ideas of pricing just yet, but it should be revealed closer to the launch of the wearable. The Gear S2 Classic is very similar to the Gear S2, except it brings a more traditional watch design and a more classy one. It will be available on AT&T with a black leather wristband and stainless steel watch casing. This watch does not need to be tied to a smartphone itself, although it can be, but it can have its own SIM card.

While the Gear S2 Classic will most likely not be exclusive to the carrier, you will only be able to get it with NumberSync on AT&T. This feature allows you to have the same phone number associated with your smartphone and the Gear S2 Classic.
