AT&T has begun taking pre-orders for the S7 and S7 Edge

Verizon is set to start pre-orders for the S7 and S7 Edge at 8AM, but AT&T has already started taking orders! You can now pre-order Samsung’s Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge from AT&T’s online store.

AT&T is the first carrier to kick of pre-orders for Samsung’s latest and great device. The Galaxy S7 starts at $23.17 per month on AT&T Next 24 and is $694.99 at full retail price. The S7 will come in your choice of Black Onyx or Gold Platinum. While the S7 Edge will start at $26.50 per month on AT&T Next 24 and go for $794.99 at full retail price. The S7 Edge will be available in Black Onyx and Gold Platinum, as well as Silver Titanium.

On AT&T when your purchase an S7 or S7 Edge, you get a free Gear VR powered by Oculus, plus a 6-game bundle. This is over $150 in value for free and virtual reality is pretty cool. As an added bonus, when you buy a Samsung smartphone from AT&T, you can get a Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 for free on a 2-year agreement.

Even better as of the time of this article going live, AT&T is showing shipping dates of March 7th 2016 for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Both devices will officially launch on March 11th 2016.

The S7 features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, while the S7 Edge has a larger and curved 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. They are both running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a Samsung user interface and are powered by a Quad-core 2.15GHz + 1.6GHz processor with 4GB of RAM. On the back you will find a Dual Pixel 12 megapixel with IOS cameras on the back and a 5 megapixel front camera. The Galaxy S7 has a 3,000mAh battery and the S7 Edge has a 3,600mAh battery, both will feature an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. Both the S7 and S7 Edge will come with 32GB of internal storage and can be expanded via a micro SD card slot.

Specific for AT&T customers, the S7 and S7 Edge will have a unique experience with the DirecTV application. You will be able to watch Live TV and Movies while at home and can even use your smartphone as a remote for you TV. Samsung’s assistant S-Voice will be integrated into the application as well.
