Lenovo has made several Android devices, including phones and tablets. While many have already been announced, and many more are on the horizon. However, the hardware giant makes many computers as well and today they are strengthening their ties with Microsoft.

Today, Lenovo announced that Microsoft Office, OneDrive, and Skype will come pre-installed on select Lenovo Android devices. Specifically, Microsoft’s productivity applications will be pre-loaded so that it might expand past these three applications.

Additionally, Microsoft and Lenovo have a patent cross-licensing agreement that covers devices. However, this patent is not just limited to Lenovo devices but expands to Motorola products. It will be interesting to see how the portion of the deal with Motorola expands and if applications will begin to get pre-loaded as well. It might mean future Motorola Windows Phone or other Microsoft branded software devices.
