galaxy-note7-silverThe Galaxy Note7 is officially dead, and a worldwide recall has been issued. This decision from Samsung comes after a rough patch for history and just hours after the company issued a sales stop globally. Today a Samsung spokesperson told us:

“For the benefit of consumers’ safety, we stopped sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note7 and have consequently decided to stop production.”

It seems that Samsung has come to their senses and realized the danger that the Note7 presented. Customers who still have a Note7 or a replacement Note7 need to get rid of the device. In fact, you should shut it down and get rid of it, as the lithium ion batteries are dangerous. Samsung has set up a dedicated website, samsung.com/us/note7recall, and a hotline, 1-844-365-6197, to call with any questions.
