Those looking to become cord cutters now have more options. AT&T’s streaming service, DIRECTV NOW, is available as of today. Its main competitors will be Sling TV and PS VUE, but they differ in some aspects.

Customers on AT&T will have an advantage as DIRECTV NOW will not count as data on your wireless bill. The service will have three plans– Live A Little for $35 a month, Just Right for $50 a month, Go Big for $60 a month, and Gotta Have It for $80 a month. The price increase comes with channel growth; it goes 60, 80, 100, and up to 120. All of these are subject to increase as AT&T and DIRECTV work out the lineups.

If you are looking to add premium channels, you can add HBO or Cinemax for just $5 a month, which is a steal of a deal. These subscriptions come in at $15 a month regularly.

You can enjoy a seven-day free trial of DIRECTV NOW beginning today with any of these packages. If you pre-pay three months on any of these plans, you get an Apple TV for free. If you pre-pay for one month, you can get a Fire TV Stick. DIRECTV Now will have live channels and video-on-demand content, but a DVR functionality is not available at launch. CBS is a big name that is not available on the service and local news is a little weird to figure out.

At launch DIRECTV NOW will work on iOS, Android, the Amazon Fire TV, the Fire TV Stick, the Chromecast, select web browsers, LeEco ecoTVs, and Vizio SmartCast Displays. Roku devices will be added early next year, along with other devices.
