Acer is making a small but important update to the Predator 17X gaming laptop. From a processing standpoint, it is now powered by a 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor with over clocking enabled. For graphics, it now has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU with 8G GDDR5X video memory. These are both desktop grade components which will ensure a very smooth gaming experience.

The 17X features a 17.3-inch G-SYNC Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 or a 4K UHD IPS display with a resolution of 3840 X 2160. This laptop can be setup with up to 64GB of RAM which will make the experience even faster.

The updated Acer Predator 17X will start at $2,599 in the US and €2,999 in the EMA when it lands in January. China will get the 17X in February and will start at ¥39,999.
