Griffin Technology is making it’s Smart Home move and introducing several Smart Appliances. The highlight of which is a $999 Connected Mirror which just looks awesome. The line is all not high price tags, an affordable Connected Coffee Maker and Smart Toaster are coming as well.

The Connected Mirror is just an awesome idea and I am happy to see it being envisioned by someone other than myself. It acts as a normal mirror but can also show prevalent information that can help you to start the day. It doesn’t always have to show information, you can hide the widgets and just have it act as a mirror. The whole system is controlled via a companion application and you can choose what you want to see. Griffin’s Connected Mirror is coming later this year for $999.

While the Mirror runs on WiFi, the Connected Coffee Maker uses Bluetooth connectivity. From a smartphone application you will be able to control the coffee brewer and make a custom cup of coffee. You can even have it ready to go once you wake up in the morning, just make sure you leave a cup there the night before. This Connected Cofee Maker will ship will ship in Quarter 2 of 2017 for $99.

I am less sure on how useful the Connected Toaster will be, but it sounds cool. It is two slot toaster that can handle the normal jobs of a regular one. But the application will remember your preference so you can have the correct level of toasting each time. The Connected Toaster will also land in Quarter 2 of 2017 for $99.

Rounding out the inaugural Griffin Home collection are the PowerBlock Beacon and PowerJolt Beacon. Both of these are battery packs and the trick up there sleeves is that it will remind the device you use it with that it needs to be charged. The PowerBlock Beacon fits into your home lifestyle, while the PowerJolt Beacon is for the car. The PowerBlock will retail for $39.99 and the PowerJolt comes in at $29.99. Both of these will ship in Quarter 2 of 2017.
