Sony unveils a very portable $25,000 4K HDR Projector

Alongside Sony’s first OLED TV and updates to their 4K TV line, the company unveiled an incredibly expensive product. Yes, Sony unveiled the VPL-VZ1000ES ultra-short throw 4K HDR home theater projector or a 4K HDR Projector for short. And yes, this 4K HDR Projector retails for $24,999.

This is the product for the person who wants to bring 4K HDR and have the ability to project it wherever they go. It can setup 6-inches away from a wall, but can they push out a 100-inch diagonal image. The projector itself generates 2,500 lumens of color light output, which is 25% brighter previous models. It is relatively small at 77 pounds and might work in several scenarios.

My only concern here is the price because at $24,999 you really need to ask yourself if you need a short throw 4K HDR Project. And if you do decide to get one, Sony plans to ship the PL-VZ1000ES ultra-short throw 4K HDR home theater projector in April of this year.
