Pelican’s Marine Case brings IP68 Waterproofing to the iPhone

If you need a sturdily built case for your iPhone that can survive the wind, the rain, the snow and come still come out alive, The Pelican Marine Case might be a good option. It was unveiled today at the 2017 CES alongside the new Vault Series of cases for the iPhone.

Pelican’s Marine Case is coming out for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. While the case is slim, it has a five layer system that keeps dirt and water out. Shock protection is built in as well, and it meets 810G Military Standard. Getting this rating means it can take multiple drops onto hard surfaces. Since this a full wrap around case, you also get a screen protector on the front. It comes in clear, clear black, and clear teal–Thus allowing the beautiful iPhone design to shine through. The iPhone 7 model will cost $80, while the 7 Plus model goes for $90.

Alongside the Marine Case, Pelican introduced the Vault Case. Which combines durability and usability with a Folio build that contains an integrated wallet. In fact, you can store a few credit cards and an ID. There are some added features including a kickstand on the back. It will be launching in a black-gray model for the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, 7, and 7 Plus.  The smaller iPhone cases will cost $50, while the Plus models come in at $60.
