While Rogue One: A Star Wars Story came out late last year and is still in theaters, all eyes are turning towards the sequel to the Force Awakens. Today, Episode VII got an official title– Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be hitting theaters later this year.

The Last Jedi is a unique title that has many fans developing theories. Especially when you consider that Jedi is both singular and plural. Rian Johnson directs Episode VIII, but the Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams is on board as an executive producer. The film should pick up right where The Force Awakens left out, with Rey on an island with Luke Skywalker. It was quite the cliffhanger and am I eager to see the next chapter.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be in theaters on December 15th, 2017 and hopefully we will get a trailer soon.
