Comcast is known for terrible customer support, and today they are adding something else to that list. The communication giant’s Xfinity Internet Service is having a nationwide outage across the United States. Including major cities like New York, San Fransisco, Chicago, Boston, Houston, and several others.

Down Detector offers a visitation of the outage and the large scale of it. It appears that the Xfinity outage began today, 11/6/17, at 1PM EST and is still occurring as of this article going live. While some areas might have the network back on, it appears that service is quite slow. Even though the speeds are not optical, download and upload are much slower then the normal speeds expected from the service.

Comcast did confirm the outage on social media, but has not provided any sort of time table for when it will be fully restored.
