iOS and macOS users have been frustrated over the past few days with a strange bug that places A [?] instead of the letter “i”. In fact, it has become a notorious bug and Apple had promised a fix was coming soon for it. The technology giant has made good on that promise, as Apple has released iOS 11.1.1.

This small update is fixing “an issue with keyboard auto-correct” and “fixes an issue where Hey Siri stops working.” iOS 11.1.1 is a very welcomed updated that will now let users text normally again and conversations won’t be confused when you use the letter “i”. There was a manual fix by customizing text replacement in iOS, but this should fix the problem automatically.

iOS 11.1.1 is rolling out now and will finally let you text normally again.
