BRAVEN Audio is jumping on the Google Assistant bandwagon with the new Villa Connect speaker. This is the first that BRAVEN has integrated the Google Assistant into a WiFi-enabled speaker.
The Villa Connect will allow users to control the experience with the Google Assistant, and it has several far-field microphones inside. Via the WiFi integration, it can link with additional speakers through multi-room audio technology. It seems as if BRAVEN Audio might be going after Sonos with this product. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see BRAVEN unleash more speakers under a Villa Connect line, as they build out a multi-room speaker system.
You will setup the Villa Connect via the Google Home app on an iOS or Android device, thus allowing you to customize and set it up with the desired WiFi network. BRAVEN’s Villa Connect will cost $199.99 when it launches in Quarter Two of 2018.
