Kia Motors has unveiled that they will be adding the Google Assistant to select vehicle via UVO Agent. Kia’s UVO Agent allows drivers to remotely issue voice commands using Google Assistant from their smartphones or Google Home.
Using Google Assistant linked to UVO Agent, drivers will be able to accept a number of simple requests remotely, including stopping or starting the engine, climate control, stopping or starting charge, horn and lights, and locking. For those of us who tend to worry whether we locked the car or turned off the lights, this feature will bring additional peace of mind. This smart compatibility falls in line with the “smart home” trend we’ve seen thus far at CES 2018, and it adds to the many things you can now connect and control in one convenient, seamless technological network.
