Philips Lighting just announced a big expansion for Philips Hue, but they have two more application related announcements. They just introduced Hue Sync, an application for Windows 10 and macOS High Sierra computers that will let you create unique experiences for Philips Hue lights.
Given the announcement earlier this week that Philips Hue will match Razer Chroma lightning, this one seems like a no-brainer. As you can have the Philips Hue lights in your workspace match the music you’re playing or movie you are watching. As in the lights will dynamically respond to what’s going on.
Secondly, the Philips Hue application for iOS and Android is getting a redesign. This update and redesign are based on customer comments. It will introduce a more seamless setup for adding new products, as well as provide an easier experience overall. You will be able to group lights, set temperatures of lighting, and find your last used scenes right from the main screen.
Both the Hue Sync application and the redesign Philips Hue mobile app will land in Quarter Two of 2018.
