Rolling out today is Bluetooth on Google Home– through the smartphone application, you will now be able to connect any compatible Bluetooth speaker. You can then set it as your default speaker, or one of them–From there ask Google to play some tunes and will start to play over the Bluetooth speaker.

By adding in this compatibility, you know longer need a Chromecast which was an added piece of the puzzle before this. One limitation that still exists is that you must speak to the Google Home speaker, even if the Bluetooth speaker has a microphone function.
