Philips Releases Another Soundbar

At the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, Philips have just been rolling products off the line. These include TVs, sound systems and more. One of these products is the new Soundbar speaker (HTL3120). This soundbar is one a few soundbars released by Philips yet is awesome nonetheless. To start, the design is modern, sleek and simplistic, yet not as adventurous looking as Philips other soundbar, here. In this sound bar, Philips integrated “Rip” cone technology. In other words; it is basically a specialized pattern of dispersing sound through the speakers (cones) to create a smooth sound with enhanced frequency response. The bar also features a Virtual Surround Sound in which sound is projected using algorithms to give off a surround sound experience. These features will make movie and TV watching perfect and pristine. In addition, the soundbar includes two HDMI ports and Bluetooth connectivity to limit most necessary wires. The Soundbar (HTL3120) will be available in March at the price of $179.99 USD. Some listed features below:

LAS VEGAS – Today at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Philips launched a new Soundbar speaker (HTL3120) that delivers premium quality sound at great value. For the first time, Philips has combined impressive “Rip” cone technology with Virtual Surround Sound for a fully dynamic and immersive sound experience. The sleek design benefits from a Bass Reflex system which delivers deep bass and can be easily connected to other media devices for a truly connected and thrilling home-entertainment experience.
The intelligently designed Rip pattern optimizes the cone, guaranteeing smooth sound delivery and enhanced frequency response, whilst ensuring accurate replication of voice tone. Coupled with Virtual Surround Sound, this rich and powerful speaker replicates the sonic characteristics that occur in an ideal 5.1 multi-channel environment, using sonic algorithms to duplicate sound and deliver a fully immersive ‘surround-sound’ experience. Adding an extra dimension to the impressive noise filling the room, Philips’ new SoundBar speaker uses a special Bass Reflex system to deliver more bass whilst minimizing low frequency distortion. This results in a controlled, clear and balanced bass to punctuate all your favorite action scenes.
