At your service: New retail appointment scheduling tool gives customers more control over their day
April 23, 2013
Let’s face it, we all have busy lives. We work hard to keep this in mind every time a customer walks into our retail store, visits att.com or calls us. We’re constantly looking for ways to give you extraordinary service that’s fast and efficient so you can get the answers you need and get back to your day.
That’s why we’ve added the ability to go online and schedule an appointment at one of our retail stores.
Our new retail appointment scheduling system is very simple to use. It lets customers book a time to visit us that is most convenient for them. When they arrive at our store, they’ll be seen by one of our representatives at their scheduled time.
Customers can book an appointment related to their wireless or home services — from activating a new device on their Mobile Share plan to signing up for AT&T U-verse or just getting help with a question about their device or apps.
We’ve also made it possible to book appointments at our Device Support Centers. Our Device Support Centers are dedicated to assisting customers troubleshoot devices and provide warranty services for our products.
Here’s how it works:
- Visit www.att.com/storeappointment and choose the store nearest to you, or click “Make appointment” when you’re looking up store location information. One of our store or call center representatives can also help you schedule an appointment.
- Choose from the available dates and times listed.
- Enter your name, contact information and reason for your visit.
- Once scheduled, simply head into the local AT&T store at the scheduled time.
What I like best about this new retail appointment option is it gives our customers even more control over their time. Even if you walk into one of our retail stores without an appointment, you’re going to get fast service, starting with our representatives waiting to welcome you when you walk in, to our speedy checkouts on mobile tablets from anywhere in the store. But if you have a tight schedule, making an appointment only takes a few quick clicks online, and we’re ready to assist you as soon as you arrive. It means you spend less time waiting and have more time for everything else.
Our goal is to be America’s premier retailer, and this is another step toward that goal. We’re focused on making it easy and enjoyable to do business with AT&T, and that starts with providing a seamless customer experience, whether you’re interacting with us online, in a store or by phone.
We’ve made several recent upgrades to integrate our online and retail service channels. For example, last year, we made it easy to check store inventory and get driving directions from att.com. Now, we’ve added retail appointment scheduling. And there’s more ahead.
We can’t wait for you to check it out, and I hope to see you at one of our retail stores soon.
