Lenovo Unleashes Two 4K Displays, One With An On Board Android Entertainment OS!

At the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, Lenovo has just unleashed two 4K displays. Yes, 4K was unveiled a short time ago and it is starting to pick up steam. Lenovo’s two new additions to its visuals product portfolio are the ThinkVision Pro2840m and the ThinkVision 28. Both are 4K displays and one of them is a smart display with an Android entertainment center built-in. Pro2840m_06

Let’s kick things off with the new ThinkVision Pro2840m, it was designed in partnership with CAD/CAM. This display will work for those looking for data analysis or for HD entertainment. It features a 28-inch UltraHD 4Kx2K monitor with a resolution of 3840 X 2160 and 157-pixels per inch.  This may be one of the most bright, vibrant, sharp, clear, and detailed 28-inch displays on the market. It has a gorgeous infinity glass design, with speakers and touch sensitive buttons. It can be mounted on a wall or held by the stand. In the stand it can swivel, title, and rotate, this way you can be comfortable as well as productive . It has many ports including  DP+mDP+HDMI+MHL, USB BC 1.2, three USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, and a MHL. Plus, a three-year warranty is included out of the box. The ThinkVision Pro2840m will start at just $799 and is landing in April.

Next up we have the ThinkVision 28 which combines a 4K display with smart technologies. The 28-inch display is widescreen UltraHD 4K2K display with 3840 x 2160 resolution and 300nits. This will be a very sharp, vibrant, and clear display. The display is a 10-finger touch as well, and this is because it is not just a display. With the touch of a button the ThinkVision 28 turns into an Android entertainment system. This is thanks to a NVIDIA Tegra powered touchscreen display. You get access to the familiar Android ecosystem, there is a 2 megapixel webcam, 32GB of storage, a micro SD card slot, Near Field Communications, three USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, three HDMI ports, audio out, audio in, a display port, and more. ThinkVision 28 combines a 4K display with an Android entertainment system, it lands in July of 2014 for around $1,199.

Lenovo is venturing into the 4K display market, with two displays. One of them is just a gorgeous, vibrant and sharp 28-inch display. Then we have a 4K display that includes a built-in Android entertainment system. Both of them have a clear space in the market and then prices differ quite a bit.
