Boost Mobile made a very large announcement earlier today, they are getting a flagship device. To be specific they are getting the Samsung Galaxy S5 and they will be getting it around the same time it launches on the other carriers. Boost Mobile customers have been hoping to get flagship devices faster for some time and this is a good announcement for all. No word on pricing or availability for the device just yet, but keep in mind that they are a no contract carrier. Meaning that while you will pay more money for the phone, you can see save money via the monthly plans.
The Galaxy S5 will begin its launch in April, just a few shorts months away. Throughout the Spring it will be launching on many different US carriers, like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and now Boost Mobile. The Galaxy S5 is a 4G LTE device and will be taking advantage of Sprint Spark, their faster LTE service. I am hoping that will be coming to the Boost Mobile edition as well. The Galaxy S 5 will feature a 16 megapixel back camera, a 5-inch FHD Super AMOLED Display, 2.5GHz Quad core application processor, Android 4.4 Kit Kat with a Samsung user interface, 4G LTE, and more.
