Vic Gundotra a Vice President at Google has just announced he is leaving the company. Vic has been with Google for 8 years and has announced his departure via his Google + page. You might remember that he is the creator and head of Google +, as well as Google I/O their develop conference. In his post he thanks Larry Page for empowering him and his leadership. He helped Vic make these groundbreaking products, including many of Google’s mobile applications. Vic does not end the post with a goodbye, but instead with an “And Then” which signifies this is a continuation. He does not say what is next, but it is time for a new journey. You can see Vic Gundorta’s full post below, no word on who will be taking over his position. He does end by saying he is excited about whats next, but he is not ready to let out that secret just yet.
