Home automation and security technology is the big story at the CES2014. Danalock is a new affordable and user-friendly smart lock. It has a starting price point of only $99 and is essentially a smart lock. It can work via the Z Wave technology, Bluetooth, or with both. The Z Wave variant will let it hook into select security systems. The product is designed very nicely and has a modern feel too it. You don’t even have to replace the outside portion of your lock, simply just replace the inside portion. A screwdriver and everything else you need is even included in the box. It is powered by 4 batteries and they should last for over a year. They make a circle one and a more rectangular one, as well as too special edition designs that will be dropping this summer. They make a touch keypad, which is an accessory for the system, that goes on the outside. With the Bluetooth mode, as your approach your house, it will automatically unlock your door.
