Home automation and security technology is the big story at the CES2014. Danalock is a new affordable and user-friendly smart lock. It has a starting price point of only $99 and is essentially a smart lock. It can work via the Z Wave technology, Bluetooth, or with both. The Z Wave variant will let it hook into select security systems. The product is designed very nicely and has a modern feel too it. You don’t even have to replace the outside portion of your lock, simply just replace the inside portion. A screwdriver and everything else you need is even included in the box. It is powered by 4 batteries and they should last for over a year. They make a circle one and a more rectangular one, as well as too special edition designs that will be dropping this summer. They make a touch keypad, which is an accessory for the system, that goes on the outside. With the Bluetooth mode, as your approach your house, it will automatically unlock your door. If this model is both Bluetooth and Z Wave, it can turn off the alarm as well.
