AT&T Launches Pre-Orders For The LG G Flex On January 24!

Back at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, AT&T that it would be getting the LG G Flex. This is the first curved phone to the hit the United States market. It will be available for pre-order both online and from AT&T retail stores starting January 24th. It will be landing with full retail sales on February 7th, 2014. The LG G Flex will be $299.99 with a 2-year contract, $26.74 per month with AT&T Next 18, or $34.75 per month with AT&T Next 12.

This device will be taking advantage of AT&T’s 4G LTE network. This will give you speeds that are up to 10 times faster than 3G. The G Flex is LTE Advanced, which means it can handle even fast speeds. I had the chance to spend some time with the device at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, you can see my full hands-on by clicking here. The device is physically curved, it gives you an interesting perspective. It feels interesting to hold in your hand, plus the buttons are on the back like with the LG G2. The overall design of the LG G Flex, will take some time to get used too.

It features a large 6-inch OLED display and it adds to the largeness of the device. The display was bright and vibrant, but viewing angles appear to be limited. It is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with an LG user interface. It is powered by a 2.26 quad core processor with 2GB of RAM. On the front you will find 2.1 megapixel camera and a 13 megapixel camera is on the back. Up to 32GB of on board storage is available and a large 3500mAh battery is inside. AT&T’s1 first smartphone with a curved screen, the LG G Flex, offers an immersive cinematic viewing experience and ergonomic comfort. The company today announced that the LG G Flex will be available in the U.S. for pre-order both online or at an AT&T store beginning Jan. 24 with full retail sales starting Feb. 7.

The LG G Flex is priced at $299.99 with a two-year agreement. Customers also have the option of paying $26.74 per month with AT&T Next 18 or  $34.75 per month with AT&T Next 12.2
