Yet Again, Verizon Proves Their Commitment To NY Metro Region With High Marks From JD Power!

Verizon-Wireless-4G-LTE

Yesterday, Verizon Wireless got some of the highest honors and awards from RootMetrics. These proved to us that they are  committed to their regions, specifically the NY Metro region which covers a good part of New Jersey. They have long been known for speed and reliability and they are making sure they will continue to be known for it. From investing $9.4 billion nationally, it proves they care about their networks and wanting to enhance the experience for all of their customers. Today, with very high marks from J.D. Power and Associates, they have proven their strengths.

This morning J.D. Power and Associates released their 2014 Wireless Network Quality Study, Vol. 1, which looks at all of the carriers. Specifically the top four, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile. They awarded Verizon Wireless as the network quality leader in all six regions of the U.S., including over beloved New York Metro region. Through these tests, they look at what consumers usually get annoyed with the most, whether it be a dead zone or a phone call not going through. Verizon came out on top in six geographic regions: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, North Central, Southwest and West.

Verizon succeeds at providing great service and they are working to make it better. For instance, take a look at the New York City subway systems. New York City has a very large transit system and many of the riders use Verizon and have powered smartphones. It used to be that going “underground” meant you were entering a dead zone, but now Verizon customers can have service in many of the subway stations. This way you can enjoy your commute and still be able to use your phone. Little things like this can help to increase customer satisfaction.

Overall, this has been a good week for Verizon Wireless, winning high marks from RootMetrics and from J.D. Power and Associates. Specifically from these tests, it shows their commitment to the New York Metro region, the Northeast area, and to the country as a whole.  They want all of their customers to come and enjoy the speed and reliability that they are known for, and to use there network for the better. Case and point with this is the Powerful Answers competition, where they inspire people to find answers for some of the worlds toughest challenges. While the Powerful Answers came to an end at the 2014 CES, we should be getting more information on this year’s soon. And like Verizon, you too can help to be innovative and one of the best.
