Just yesterday the brand new HTC One M8 was unveiled, the successor to the super popular HTC One. Shortly after the originally HTC One came out last year, we had the HTC One Mini. This device found a home on AT&T. You Can See Our Full Review Of The Device, By Clicking Here. Today, it is getting the upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat which brings along HTC Sense 5.5 as well. The update to Android 4.4 can be done over the air and can be accessed via settings on the device.

Along with a general improvement and enhancement to the software experience on the One Mini, as a whole, there are some new features. For instance along with HTC Sense 5.5, you get an updated version of BlinkFeed. You now have more new sources to choose from and overall improvement in the user interface and speed of the software feature. Some smaller features include being able to access both the camera and music controls from the lock screen. Overall, the update will be a welcomed addition to the HTC One Mini for AT&T.

Install Instructions:

For a successful install, we recommend the device has at least a 50 percent charged battery.

You can go to the Settings icon in the apps menu > Select the About Phone > Select System Updates > Select Download > After the download, select Install. Once installed, your phone will re-start automatically. You will be prompted to enable Wi-Fi during this process if it is not already enabled.
