Runatastic Launches Their Latest Wearable The Orbit

Today, Runtastic has just launched their newest wearable, the Orbit. Similar to the devices on the market, it is a 24-hour tracking device that can tack your sleep, daily movements, fitness activities and more. It also works with their new Runtastic Me application, which will expand the ecosystem of their products. Rather then gearing it towards just fitness buffs, it is for anyone and everyone, as Runtastic puts it.

Runtastic wanted to make sure that the Orbit has some unique features that can let the device differentiate itself from other fitness trackers. It has a OLED display that will let you see the time, steps taken, and more. You can wear the device on your wrist or clip it to yourself, plus there will six colors to choose from after your purchase the Orbit. If you are a swimmer or enjoy a day at the beach, it is waterproof up to 300 feet. It will sync with the mobile application via Bluetooth Smart.

The Runtastic Me application is where all of your tracking data can be found. It will sync back and forth between the application and the orbit, allowing you to view data right on the wearable or in the application. It will also show you more detailed tracking info, through graphics, charts, and graphs. Overall, the Orbit seems like an interesting fitness wearable with a few tricks unique offerings, like being waterproof up to 300 feet.
