Oregon Scientific Launches The Ssmart Dynamo, A New Activity Tracker!

Oregon Scientific is entering the activity tracker market, with a new announcement this morning. Introducing the Ssmart Dynamo, a new 24/7 wireless activity tracker! It will track your sleep, steps taken, distance travelled, calories burned and much more. It syncs wirelessly to your smartphone with Bluetooth. It is landing in retail locations in 2014 and is available today from Oregon Scientific’s e-store for $99.99. In terms of Ssmart Dyanmo’s design it comes in an array of colors and a comfortable design. A four-color LED indicator on the band will let you track your activity. The band can handle up to 14 days of internal storage and to save your data you sync it with your smartphone. It has a better that can last for up to 2 weeks and it works with a few different smartphones. It’s sleep tracking will let you see your full sleep time and your resting time. For activity tracking you can see distance traveled, number of steps, and calories burned. Via the application you can see all of your data in an easy to use way. Set goals for yourself and then achieve those goals and track your progress towards those goals. The Ssmart Dynamo seems like a great activity tracker. When the sun goes down, it offers nightly sleep tracking, including rest time and actual sleep time.  An easy-to read, four-color LED indicator keeps the wearer informed of their daily activity level that can be stored for up to 14 days. The unisex activity band also features a built-in rechargeable battery that holds a charge up to two weeks and wirelessly connects to iPhone® 4S, iPhone® 5, iPhone ®5S and Android™ 4.3 or later using Bluetooth® Smart with reduced power consumption that won’t quickly drain the battery.

A companion app offers an easy and convenient way to set up, view, monitor, and share a fitness program.  An easy-to-read graphic interface provides visual progress and allows users to adjust and optimize their training in order to reach their goals. Customizable goals are measured by daily achievements and displayed in a clear activity level gauge. The app also features an “in bed” gauge display to measure actual sleep time and offers a time-to-fall-asleep analysis.
