Verizon Wireless has already added a bunch of new devices to it’s lineup these past few months, including a phablet, the LG G Vista, but they are getting two new devices from Samsung as well. The just announced Galaxy Note Edge and Note 4 will both be landing on the carrier soon, most likely this Fall. And as always with devices on Verizon, you get access to their super and lightning fast 4G LTE network! No word on pricing yet, but the main difference between the two devices, would be the curved display on the Note Edge. Plus, the Edge is appearing to be the flagship of the two and will most likely have a higher price tag.
The Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch QuadHD display, this bumps up the display to a 2K display, but the Note Edge only features a 5.6-inch Quad HD + Super AMOLED for it’s display. Besides for the minor difference with the displays, the Note Edge and Note 4 are essentially the same. They will both be powered by either a 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Processor or a 1.9 GHz Octa-Core (1.9GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad-Core) Processor depending on your region. You get a 16 megapixel camera on the back that does have OIS(Optical Image Stabilization), while on the front you get a selfie-optimized 3.7 megapixel lens. The heart rate sensor that we saw on the Galaxy S 5, is in store on both of the new notes along with finger print sensor. They both are running Android 4.4.2 KitKat with a Samsung TouchWiz user interface. Stay tuned to NJTechReviews for the full story on the Note Edge and the Note 4 coming to Verizon Wireless!
