Verizon’s Annual Upgrade Program for the S7 and S7 Edge is pretty good

Verizon

Verizon has already had a very successful launch for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, but they are back with a big announcement. And this one might just be the best one yet and this will make customers who already have the device, who pre-ordered it, or who are planning on getting it very happy. Big Red has just announced an Annual Upgrade Program for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. To put it simply, it brings back the idea of once you have paid off 50% of your device, you can upgrade to a new phone.

This is great news, as Verizon is now bringing back an easy way for customers who chose the device payment plan option to upgrade. This is of course when you make monthly payments towards your device. Good news here is that as long the S7 or S7 Edge is on Verizon’s device payment option, you are good to go. Even if you pre-ordered the device on day one or plan on getting it tomorrow via the device payment plan, you are in the Annual Upgrade Program.

Two main rules to this program, you have to own the device for at least 30 days and need to have more than 50% paid off to do the upgrade. Theoretically after one year, you are good to go and can get the latest and greatest device. Once you have completed the necessary requirements to upgrade, you can upgrade to any device on Verizon’s lineup. The trick to get enrolled in the Annual Upgrade Program is that it has to be with a Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, iPhone 6s, or iPhone 6s Plus.
